Aims and Objectives:

This workshop seeks to explore our attitudes to intercultural communication through a discussion of Adrian Holliday’s Non-Essentialist Model, ‘Cultural blocks and threads’.
Learning Outcomes:

Students will have thought about intercultural communication in terms of Adrian Holliday’s Non-Essentialist Model, ‘Cultural blocks and threads’, rather than essentialist approaches.

Students will have gained more vocabulary.

Students will have gained reading skills.
